The Arab Ambassadors accredited in Helsinki called on May 24, 2018 the Finnish Parliament (Eduskunta) to take steps in order to show solidarity with Palestinian people and stop Israeli occupation violations.
The call followed a meeting gathering six Arab Ambassadors (Algeria, Egypt, Irak, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia), Ms. Eva Biaudet, Chair of the Parliamentary Network on Human Rights at the Finnish Parliament and Ms. Li Andersson, Chair of the Left Alliance Party and of the Finnish Parliamentary Palestine Friendship Group.
