The Algerian Embassy in Helsinki has been established in 2016. This was a milestone in the history of Algerian-Finnish relationships.
The Embassy is located in central Helsinki, in Pohjoinen Makasiinikatu 6 A.
The Embassy was officially inaugurated by the Secretary-General of Algerian Foreign Ministry, Hassane Rabehi. It was also celebrated by the presence of the Secretary-General of the Finnish Foreign Ministry, Peter Stelund.
The Embassy started offering consular services in 2018.
The Head of Mission in the Embassy is H.E. Ms Nawel Settouti. She was in charge of opening the Embassy in 2016 and has served as the Ambassador since.
Ambassador of Algeria in Helsinki, Ms. Nawal Settouti, presented on May 19th 2016, to H.E. Mr. Sauli Niinistö, the President of the Republic of Finland, her letters of credence accrediting her as Ambassador of Algeria in Finland.
