ADDIS ABABA- Former Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa dubbed “strong” the address made Sunday by President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebbboune at the African Union Summit, underlining the challenges facing the African countries.
“I listened to the speech of President Tebboune. It is strong and I hope him all the success, notably with the challenges and threats facing the African and Arab countries,” he said in a statement to the Algerian press on the sidelines of the 33rd Summit of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government.
He said that “Algeria’s challenges are part of those of Africa and the Arab world,” adding that the African countries “are required to subscribe to this summit’s themes and commit to implementing them.”
