On the sidelines of the work of the 35th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, met his Senegalese counterpart, Aissata Tall Sall, whose country holds the presidency of the African Union this year.
During this meeting, the discussions focused on the main political issues on the agenda of the Summit.
The two Ministers explored, on this occasion, prospects of promoting the consensus among Member States, in the spirit of unity and solidarity, as well as principles enshrined in the Constitutive Act of the African Union.
The discussions also focused on the next milestones in the development of Algerian-Senegalese bilateral relations.
