As representative of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, participated in the work of the thirty-fifth summit of the African Union, held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, on 5 and 6 February 2022.
This summit, bearing the slogan “Enhancing Food Security: Accelerate the development of human, social and economic capital in the African continent”, considered issues related to Peace and Security, Governance, Institutional Reform of the African Union, and African efforts to combat the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, in addition to Economic Cooperation.
This session marks the transfer of the presidency of the summit from the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mr. Felix Tshisekedi, to the President of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Macky Sall.
